Boston Vacation

In the early spring I started looking at rentals for this summer’s trip. Last summer we hit up Jersey, Philly, and NYC in the span of 5 days, it was alot of fun but also alot of driving/ packing/ moving around. This year we decided to chose a city and stay there for the week. Choosing the right city, would prove to be the hardest part. We needed a city with lots of spots, friendly locals, if possible a canadian/ Montreal/not ghetto feel to it, and a beach close by for swimming on the warm days. Boston was that city.

A few months prior to the trip, I found a condo for rent online. The place seemed too good to be true, price was less than hotels, right downtown, even by the harbor, to our luck, it only had one available week left, the exact week we were planing our trip. I reserved it right away and hoped for the best. The finalized crew was Eric (Ricky) Trepanier, Greg Flag, Mike Cardin and myself (Jeremy Deme). When we arrived in Boston, we were greeted by some sort of Italian festival on the street of our place, which seemed almost like a welcoming to the city. When we got into our condo, we knew it was going to be an amazing week, the place was really nice. The location was amazing, you could walk to the seaside harbors in 1-2 minutes, about 5 minutes from the boston gardens (where the bruins and celtics play) and minutes bike ride to downtown. Most importantly, only 10 minutes bike ride from Timeless bmx (thanks again!!). We spent quite a bit of time at timeless, Jody hooked us up bigtime, and Dave and Matty showed us some spots the first day. The rest of the week consisted of riding a few hours, dying of heat, retreating back to the A/C at our place, watching AOTC, drinking, watching Ricky and his bike take it, and just lots of good times.

It ended up being incredibly humid the whole time were were there, making it hard to ride during the day, but most days we rode anyway. We made a trip out to the beach one day too which was awesome. Montreal has seen so much rain this summer that we were just happy to see some constant sun.

Greg, Rick and Mike shredded and we filmed a bunch for the next Presence film. All in all this was one of the best trips I have ever been on. Boston is an amazing city and going anywhere with your buds always makes for a good time. Below is a bunch of pics from the trip, the first 12 were taken by Mike Cardin and the rest by myself.
