Burlington

A few of us made a trip to Burlington Saturday, it was a fun day. It feels like we were there for more than a day just because of everything that happened. First of all, we found a bayoo and a little buddy by the bayoo (the dog in the pic). Second we went to my worst enemy rail first spot of the day at 10:30 am. The story is that basically the rail took me out a couple years back and has pissed me off since then. There’s a crack before the rail that messes me up everytime for some reason, saturday was no exception. I somehow managed to pull a gymnastic move to head smack/head hit on some cement underneath the rail when a hop onto it went wrong. Pretty retarded but also pretty crazy that Mike Cardin captured the moment perfectly. I pulled it later in the day at least, I still hate that rail. We met another character who goes by the name Steve, he showed us some sick spots and rode everything full speed. He did some of the best brakeless skids in grass Ive ever seen. Albert fired out a sick kinker, so did Chris. Greg did a crazy crazy rail and a bunch of other retarded stuff as usual. We rode an awesome jersey setup spot, had a sketchy supper and had a funny gas stop that almost lead to a fight. It was a good day. We filmed quite a bit so look for that footage in upcoming PRESENCE projects… Here’s some pics taken by Mike C., and a couple by Albert.

Warm weather + good friends + bikes = good times

So saturday was an amazing day. The weather was +28 and sunny, a bunch of us got together and rode the plateau of Montreal. Mike Cardin took a few pictures during the sesh, a few of them are below. (Sick pics Mike, your a natural buddy!) He took another crazy one of Greg that where going to hold on for now… BANGER. Greg has big balls and when he wears his wife beater “it’s for a reason”. Spring is here, ride bikes.

Here’s a quick Taz edit from last week http://vimeo.com/4071561 , filmed by myself and Alex Ji (thanks Alex). I didn’t feel like color correcting, I’m tired of indoor footage haha. Where’s spring, I want to ride/film outside again!!! We didn’t get any snow in March and now in April were getting some… weird east. We’re working on an interview web edit so that should be the next edit up in the next couple weeks. Liam’s back from Texas, go visit him at UAB. Both Mike’s celebrated their bdays in the last couple weeks so wish them happy bday if you see them. Thanks!

So Saturday was a crazy nice day outside, I’m sure alot of people were out riding the streets. We have another edit dropping in the next few days, it’s going to be big…. Dewey bought a cam a few months back and is already taking some sick pictures, here’s his flicker if you want to have a look yourself http://www.flickr.com/photos/ridemtl/with/3391865501/. I know alot of people, including myself, appreciate non riding pics as much as riding pics, Dewey has some crazy cityscape pictures on there. On the topic of pictures, Alex mentioned having some new pics to put up soon and that he should have his new cam very soon.

As much as I’m not into web vids, we filmed some stuff this winter and here’s some of it. Most of it is filmed at UAB in MTL, which is definitely the place to ride in the winter time. Street sesh March 21st

Yesterday a few of us rode some street. The weather in Montreal has been good lately, usually we get snowstorms mid march but this year most of the snow is gone and we’ve been getting above 0 days. It was pretty cold out saturday but was still great to be outside on the bike. A few of us hit up UAB saturday evening, Trep and some TR guys were down. I’ve been working on the web edits that should be dropping in a week or so. Keep your eyes peeled. Albert was taking sweet pictures all day yesterday, here’s a few.
